Just one 91原创 Grade 8 girls team remains in contention at the Fraser Valley basketball championships.
The 91原创 Christian Lightning, the 91原创 district champions, scored a 32-12 win over Agassiz in the opening round on Feb. 19.
The Lightning are seeded fourth while Agassiz was No. 29.
Up next for 91原创 Christian is their round of 16 match on Feb, 21 against No. 20 Seaquam. The winner advances to the championship round at Agassiz.
The H.D. Stafford Skyhawks, Walnut Grove Gators and Brookswood Bobcats were all eliminated on Tuesday.
The No. 24 Skyhawks lost 42-24 to the No. 9 Enver Creek Cougars, the No. 27 Gators lost 33-19 to the No. 6 W.A. Fraser Falcons, and the No. 31 Brookswood Bobcats lost 44-16 to No. 2 Burnsview.
