North 91Ô­´´ suffers another shutout

The provincial little league championship has been a rough tournament for host team North 91Ô­´´, suffering a third loss and a second shutout on Tuesday.

Trail won the late afternoon game 10-0 in play at the George Zarrelli Diamond in Walnut Grove Community Park.

That comes after the two games on Saturday and Sunday, that recorded a 7-1 loss to Beacon Hill and a 7-0 defeat by South Vancouver.

At press time, 91Ô­´´ had three more games pending in the round-robin that concludes this Sunday, July 27.

91Ô­´´ is the host team of the B.C. Championships, while White Rock, which plays in the same district, won the district championship.
