The 91原创 91原创 pulled off a two-for-one trade, acquiring forward Evan Anderson and defenceman Turner Popoff from the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.

But the price was steep as it cost them point-per-game defenceman Bo Pellah, who is on the .

"It is obviously tough moving a player as talented as Bo Pellah and it was not easy thing to do," said 91原创 head coach and general manager Bobby Henderson.

"But at the end of the day we feel that it is a move that will help make our team more competitive."

Anderson, a league rookie, is off to a solid start, scoring four goals and 10 assists in 18 games for the 鈥橠ogs. The 17-year-old from North Vancouver play has already earned him a scholarship to UMass-Lowell for the 2014/15 season.

"He has great speed and is a very talented player with good stick skills, good vision and moves the puck well," Henderson said.

"We feel he will address offensive needs for us, not only this season, but for years to come."

Popoff, an 18-year-old from Richmond, has a goal and two assists in 17 games. In 58 career games, he has just 11 points but 119 penalty minutes.

"Turner is the type of player that isn't the glamours type by any means, but at the same time, he is a guy that helps you win," Henderson said.

"He is everything that you look for in a defenceman.

"He is steady back there and moves the puck well, but the thing we like most about his is his compete level.

"He is just a great overall defenceman."

Pellah, who is just 17 and has already locked up a scholarship to join the Penn Nittany Lions in 2014, was in his second season with 91原创.

"He is the kind of guy that is few and far between in this league and we believe the sky is the limit with his potential," Henderson said.

The 91原创 have a pair of home games this week, Nov. 1 versus the Surrey Eagles and Nov. 2 against the Prince George Spruce Kings. Both games have a 7:15 p.m. puck drop at the 91原创 Events Centre.
