Canadian Tour rookie Nathan Leonhardt held off Matt Daniel and 91Ô´´â€™s James Allenby to take top spot at the Woodland Golf Vancouver Golf Tour championship.
The two-day event was held at 91Ô´´â€™s Pagoda Ridge.
Allenby shot a blistering back nine of six-under par 31 to shoot 66 on the final day and finish in a tie for second at eight-under par 136.
Leonhardt shot an opening round 69 and followed that up with a 65 in round two to finish 10-under par 134.
Leonhardt, who was in the third final pairing, had a shaky start on Sunday, bogeying the fifth hole. But he was money in the bank over the final 13 holes, closing with seven birdies and an eagle. The eagle came on the 16th hole and was followed by back-to-back birdies to put the pressure on the final four golfers.
On the amateur side of the draw, Adam Svensson won his seventh Vancouver Golf Tour event in seven starts over the two years.
Svensson shot 72-71—143 to win by two strokes.
