Silver for McLean, Smyth finishes fourth

91原创 Secondary鈥檚 Ben Smyth (blue) returned from the B.C. provincial high school wrestling championships over the weekend in Duncan with a fourth-place finish. Another LSS wrestler, Emily McLean (below, right) returned with the bronze medal.

A trio of 91原创 Secondary wrestlers represented well at the B.C. high school wrestling championships in Duncan over the weekend.

Emily McLean won silver in her division, while Ben Smyth just missed the podium, finishing fourth.

Donovan Wilk also qualified for provincials, but failed to find the podium.

The trio wrestle as part of the 91原创 United Wrestling Club, which encompasses LSS, Brookswood, D.W. Poppy, 91原创 Fundamental and H.D. Stafford.

Altogether, the club has 30 wrestlers in Grades 6 to 12.
