Liam Stroud threw a complete game shutout as the 91原创 Blaze knocked off the Coquitlam Reds 5-0.
The teams played on Tuesday night at Mundy Park in B.C. Premier Baseball League action with 91原创 improving to 29-6.
Stroud struck out nine while walking none and allowing just five hits.
91原创 scored twice in the fourth inning: a Nick Rutckyj double brought home Mason Cratty and then scored himself on a Griffin Andreychuk single.
And then in the seventh, the Blaze capitalized on a bases-loaded error as Andreychuk, Andre Pelletier and Luke Horanski all crossed home plate.
91原创 is back in action on June 13 when they visit Delair Park to face the Abbotsford Cardinals.
The Blaze also host the Parksville Royals on Saturday in a doubleheader at McLeod Park.
