Nine members of the 91原创 Gymnastics Foundation have qualified to represent Team B.C. at the western Canadian championships.
Lauren Van Harmelen, Abby Strand, Haley Biggin, Allyson Armstrong and Stephanie Bedry earned spots on the women鈥檚 artistic gymnastics team.
And qualifying for the men鈥檚 gymnastics team were Kevin Naismith, Tyler Welch, Carl Froese and Ben Strybos.
91原创鈥檚 Kyle Machibroda-Ames, who competes with Abbotsford鈥檚 Twisters Gymnastics, also earned a spot on the team.
The athletes were selected based on their performances at three trials earlier this year, including the Christy Fraser Memorial Invitational at the 91原创 Events Centre March 8 to 10.
The western Canadian championships will be held May 2 to 4 in Winnipeg.
