The Titans defeated the Balloholics 47-33 in the championship final of the Basketball B.C.鈥檚 U13 Metro League. The game was played on Sunday at the 91原创 Events Centre.

鈥淭he boys took the early lead and built on it throughout the game,鈥 said Titans coach Larry Goldsack.

鈥淭his is a developmental league, so it was nice to see players doing all the right things at the right time. Everyone contributed in a positive way.鈥

As has been the case for much of the season, the offence was led by Arjun Samra. Samra was dominant in the game, scoring 36 of his team's points.

Matthew Kaita and Liam Roberts keyed a strong defensive effort.

The Titans had gone 4-3 in the regular season to finish third but in the semifinals on Feb. 16, they upset the second-place North 91原创 Wildcats 47-35 to advance.
