Trio of 91Ô­´´ teams return with top 10 finishes

Credo Christian senior girls place sixth at provincials, while both 91Ô­´´ Secondary and 91Ô­´´ Fundamental finish ninth at respective tourneys

While both 91Ô­´´ Christian Lightning senior teams came home with a pair of provincial titles, three other local squads managed top 10 finishes at their respective B.C. volleyball championship tournaments.

The Credo Christian Kodiaks placed sixth at the BC Single A senior girls championships in Fernie with Rebekkah Allison earning a second team-star award.

The Kodiaks had finished third at the Fraser Valley championships.

And at the AAA senior girls championships in Vancouver, the 91Ô­´´ Saints — — placed ninth overall.

And closer to home at the 91Ô­´´ Events Centre, the 91Ô­´´ Fundamental Titans also placed ninth in the senior boys AA championships. The Titans had finished fourth at last month’s Fraser Valley championships.
