The 91原创 Blaze continue their dominant play, taking all four games over the visiting Okanagan Athletics over the weekend at McLeod Park.

The U18 baseball team improved to 23-3 and pushed their winning streak to 21 games.

91原创 won 2-1 and 7-1 on Saturday, and then 8-0 and 6-2 on Sunday.

The first game required extra innings and the Blaze won it in the bottom of the eighth when Mitchell Robinson's RBI single scored Luke Horanski.

The teams had traded runs in the first inning with the Athletics scoring an unearned run while Mason Cratty's single scored Shoma Sasaki for the Blaze.

After that, it was a pitchers' duel, which was won by Kyle Ross.

Ross pitched all eight innings, striking out five and walking none for 91原创.

Saturday's second game saw Braeden Bouchey toss a one-hitter, allowing just a single unearned run along the way in his team's 7-1 victory. He also struck out eight.

The offence saw Nick Rutckyj belt a two-run home run. He finished with three hits and three RBIs.

Cratty drove in a pair of runs while Horanski and Griffin Andreychuk had one RBI apiece.

And Sunday opened with another stellar pitching performance as Liam Stroud delivered five shutout innings, before Ashton Mantle and Eric Broatch each had one shutout inning.

Rutckyj continued to feast on the Okanagan pitching, hitting a bases-clearing double and finishing with four RBIs.

Mike Dagg, Sasaki and Andreychuk each drove in one run.

The weekend closed with a 6-2 victory, which required 91原创 to erase an early 2-0 hole.

Horanski had three RBIs while Robinson and Rutckyj had the others.

On the mound, Kristjan Storrie went the distance, scattering five hits over seven innings, while striking out six.

The Blaze's next game is May 21 at Delair Park versus the host Abbotsford Cardinals.

They are scheduled to host the North Delta Blue Jays on May 25 in a doubleheader at McLeod Park.
