More than 40 teams and 500 young hockey players will hit the ice for the 12th annual Jordan Owens Memorial Spring Hockey Tournament.
The 91原创 Minor Hockey Association tournament, which is for the initiation age group (five to eight) runs March 16 to 20 at the Walnut Grove Sportsplex and is in memory of Jordan Owens, who was an avid hockey player who succumbed to cancer at the age of eight.
The tournament raises money for B.C. Children鈥檚 Hospital in behalf of Owens and his family.
was raised and a goal of $17,000 has been set for 2012.
