The Fort 91原创 Community Association is asking residents and business owners to fill out a survey on what the most important issues are facing the Fort today.
This is the third annual survey by the FLCA, and last year鈥檚 effort saw 359 completed surveys returned.
Last year, transportation, development and the character of the community, a desire for more public spaces, green spaces, and community events were top priorities.
鈥淭he survey respondents put a lot of thought, time and energy into their written answers and we received 22 full single-spaced pages of written comments in addition to all of the multiple-choice responses,鈥 said Andy Schildhorn, president of the Fort 91原创 Community Association.
Some of the specific areas of concern were a lack of parking, a need for a controlled intersection at Glover Road and 96th Avenue, and a desire to re-route commercial truck traffic out of the community.
Schildhorn said the FLCA will continue to push for the removal of the truck route through Fort 91原创, as well as for an intersection light at Glover Road and Mavis Avenue.
Surveys have been mailed out or hand delivered, but are also available on the FLCA website at .
Completed paper surveys can be dropped off at Wendel鈥檚 Bookstore, Sweetgrass Naturals, Lee鈥檚 Market, Mangia e Scappa, or Beatniks Bistro.
