Roads to Simon Fraser University's Burnaby campus have reopened after an earlier police incident Thursday (July 31).
Cpl. Laura Hirst said in an email to Black Press Media just before 2:30 p.m. that the roads leading to the campus are now open. She added "there is believed to be no further risk to the public."
A post to social media from the university just before 1 p.m. said the roadway was closed "due to an incident affecting the university."
Black Press Media has asked for further comment from Burnaby RCMP.
