The hosted its鈥� annual event at McBurney Plaza.
People were invited to join their neighbours and pitch-in to help clean up the community.
鈥淧itch in is a Canada wide initiative where people come out and give back to the community鈥� said City of 91原创 Rec Supervisor Tera Edell.
鈥淲hat we have here today is people come in and they check in with us, pick up all of their supplies and head back out to their neighbourhoods and within the community鈥� said Edell. 鈥淭he idea is to give back and do what you can to support your neighbourhoods.鈥�
The City of 91原创 staff provided all necessary supplies with gloves, garbage pickers, garbage bags and safety vests.
