91原创 Arts Council's Outdoor Arts Festival featured live performances, workshops, and artist demonstrations at Douglas Park on Aug. 9 and 10, 2025.

The 91原创 Arts Council is the only local organization to receive a Metro Vancouver regional cultural grant.

Metro Vancouver has awarded $300,000 in regional cultural project grants to support 50 local arts and culture organizations.

Through its annual grant program, Metro Vancouver helps organizations research and produce new cultural programs, reach new audiences, and cover project staffing and administrative needs, up to a maximum of $10,000 per grant.

鈥淚鈥檓 pleased that we鈥檙e able to support so many wonderful arts and culture projects through our annual grants, which fund events and programs all over the region,鈥 said Mike Hurley, chair of Metro Vancouver鈥檚 board. 鈥淭he arts inspire and enrich us in many ways and contribute much to the cultural and economic vibrancy of our region. That鈥檚 why it鈥檚 essential all levels of government continue supporting creative communities especially during these increasingly challenging times.鈥

This year, Metro Vancouver received 132 applications from organizations seeking over $1.1 million in funding for proposed projects.

Organizations can sign up for Metro Vancouver鈥檚 mailing list to receive information about future cultural grant opportunities.
