A flock of fascinators and a horde of hats arrived at the 91原创 Seniors Resource Centre Friday for a pre-wedding Royal Tea in honour of the upcoming nuptials in Great Britain.
鈥淗arry has excused himself, he鈥檚 too busy to be here today,鈥� joked Louise Jeansonne, one of the attendees.
Several dozen attendees had tea sandwiches, desserts, and conversation at tables decorated with Union Jack flags emblazoned with the pictures of Prince Harry Windsor and Meghan Markle.
Organized in large part by line dancing instructor Peggy Thomson, the event was a fundraiser for the seniors centre.
