The paid-call Township of 91原创 Firefighters from Hall 6 in Murrayville were handing out candy and collecting donations for the 91原创 Food Bank Saturday morning during the annual Candy Cane Run.
The run began at at Hall 6 at 10 a.m.
鈥淭he kids love it,鈥� said Township of 91原创 Fire Lt. Anthony Moon.
鈥�(So do) some of the bigger kids and some of the adults who think they鈥檙e still kids.鈥�
Donations of non-perishable food items and cash were being accepted.
鈥淓verything that we raise today goes to the 91原创 Food Bank,鈥� Moon said.
