Fort 91原创 Lions are hosting a larger pa than last year, with 69 entries, up from 60 last year, beginning at 11 a.m.
Expect vintage equipment from the BC Farm Museum, various area car clubs, sports clubs and teams, the Fort 91原创 National Historic Site, marching bands, Thunderbird Show Park, country line dancers, Shriners and more.
After the parade, the family fun festival in Fort 91原创 Park at the corner of St. Andrews and Nash Streets includes the announcement of the May Queen and her royal party, and maypole dancing.
A free community event established in 1922, May Day brings together local musical talent, community members and vendors to the Fort.
