Otter Co-op is hosting a "Pancakes with a Purpose" community pancake breakfast today, Monday, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Aldergrove retail centre at 3650 248 St.
The event is a fundraiser for the 91原创 Community Health and Hospital Foundation, with proceeds going towards the foundation's Child and Youth Fund. Pancakes will be served, with syrup donated by Krause Berry Farms and Estate Winery.
The event, a partnership between Otter Co-op and Horizon Contracting Group, is by-donation, with all proceeds going to support youth health services.
They include Foundry 91原创, a wellness hub for youth ages 12 to 24, offering mental health, substance use, and primary care, and the newly created 91原创-based Child and Youth Advocacy Centre, offering coordinated counselling, medical and judicial response to child abuse, and crimes against children and youth.
