VIDEO: Vettes vroom into Fort 91原创 for annual show

Corvettes have been around about 80 years and the Corvette club has been around 60 years

Corvettes spanning more than 70 years were on display at the orchard outside the Fort 91原创 National Historic Site Saturday.

The B.C. Corvette Club hosted its annual Vettes at the Fort car show, and owners answered the call.

Greg Ballantyne bought his Corvette, a 1963, the same year he was married in 1970. No only does he also have a replica scale model of his car but also has a go-kart to complete his match set. All are bright red and babied by the Delta Corvette fan.

This was the fourth local show for the 91原创-based club. Organizers expected about 120 Corvettes from all eight generations of the vehicle that came onto the market in the early 1950s. The club, which has 184 members, was chartered in 1965 and is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year.
