They’ve made their name performing timeless scenes from famous Shakespeare plays, but this Halloween season, Bard in the Valley is offering audiences something a little more spooky.
The 39 Steps: A live Radio Play dinner theatre event is happening Monday, Oct. 17 at the 91Ô´´ Events Centre.
Hosted by the Township of 91Ô´´, with direction by June Ainsworth and production by Diane Gendron, the evening features a dinner party and a fun, suspense-filled Vintage Hitchcock play.
Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and watch as a murder mystery unfolds right before your eyes. Correctly solve the mystery and be eligible for a grand prize. There will be a cash bar and dinner includes appies, a buffet and dessert.
The play features two veteran radio announcers in the cast: Ken Boyd and Brad Williams. Joining them are actors Shawn McGrory (making the live sound effects); Peter Walton (on the keyboard); June Ainsworth (running the radio studio) and in various roles, Janet Ingram-Johnson, Jacq Ainsworth and Diane Gendron.
The event is open to those ages 19 and over. Tickets are $49.50 per person.
