They鈥檝e made their name performing timeless scenes from famous Shakespeare plays, but this Halloween season, Bard in the Valley is offering audiences something a little more spooky.
The 39 Steps: A live Radio Play dinner theatre event is happening Monday, Oct. 17 at the 91原创 Events Centre.
Hosted by the Township of 91原创, with direction by June Ainsworth and production by Diane Gendron, the evening features a dinner party and a fun, suspense-filled Vintage Hitchcock play.
Enjoy a delicious buffet dinner and watch as a murder mystery unfolds right before your eyes. Correctly solve the mystery and be eligible for a grand prize. There will be a cash bar and dinner includes appies, a buffet and dessert.
The play features two veteran radio announcers in the cast: Ken Boyd and Brad Williams. Joining them are actors Shawn McGrory (making the live sound effects); Peter Walton (on the keyboard); June Ainsworth (running the radio studio) and in various roles, Janet Ingram-Johnson, Jacq Ainsworth and Diane Gendron.
The event is open to those ages 19 and over. Tickets are $49.50 per person.
