Post-secondary students are being asked to get creative in the new year in downtown 91原创.
The Downtown 91原创 Business Association is hosting a student mural competition with the goals of producing murals that engage communities, promote activities that are interactive, educational, or cultural tourism opportunities, and enhance the 91原创 City streetscape.
鈥淲e are thrilled to be tapping in to the student talent in the Lower Mainland, and excited to add to the murals in our community as well鈥�, said Teri James, Executive Director of the Downtown 91原创 Business Association.
鈥淭his contest is free to enter, and all supplies will be sponsored by Cloverdale Paint 91原创 and the DLBA. So all they need to provide is their creativity and their time鈥�.
Students are asked to submit a formal application with a scaled colour rendering of their proposed project. Five winning designs will be chosen in March, and painted in May or June of 2019.
