91原创 is among the communities embracing Canadian culture over the final weekend of September.
Culture Days is an annual celebration of arts, culture and heritage in recognition of Canada鈥檚 diverse artistic and cultural mosaic.
Visitors to Culture Days events in the 91原创s will be treated to a multitude of free, hands-on activities hosted by local artists, artisans, historians, organizations and arts enthusiasts Sept. 29 and 30, and Oct. 1.
鈥淐ulture Days is a Canada-wide initiative and grassroots movement that aims to build a greater understanding and deepen relationships between the arts and every neighbourhood and community,鈥 BC Culture Days task force vice chair Howard Jang said. 鈥淭his is a unique opportunity for the public to form connections and immerse themselves in the arts.鈥
Culture Days activities will be taking place at a variety of locations, including arts centres and community hubs.
IN LANGLEY, ALDERGROVE, AND FORT LANGLEY
Celebrate Dance at the City of 91原创 Library
Friday, Sept. 29 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Rhythm is alive in the library: Performers from different dance backgrounds will share their form of creative expression. From samba to powwow dance and much more, enjoy this exciting feast for the eyes. Participants are encouraged to share their own dance moves at the end of the performance.

B.C. children鈥檚 author, Maxwell Newhouse, will share true stories of adventure and intrigue. He is the author of The RCMP Musical Ride, Let鈥檚 Go For A Ride, Counting on Snow, Weber Street Wonder Work Crew, Emily Carr - At the Edge of the World and Laura Secord - A Story of Courage. This presentation is applicable for school aged kids.
