An unconventional new stage is set for Vancouver’s popular contemporary dance series. The 29th edition of Dances for a Small Stage offers an intrepid showcase of artistic talent —including a Québec City protégé — and features a new solo work by 91Ô´´ dancer/choreographer, Julianne Chapple.
Dances for a Small Stage 29 makes its debut installation at the Ukrainian Centre on E. 10th at Main Street from Sept. 12-14.
In addition to presenting some of Vancouver’s hottest young artists on its landmark 10’ by 13’ stage, Small Stage 29 marks the beginning of a sister series in Québec City.
In celebration of the new venue, Dances for a Small Stage 29 has partnered with the Ukrainian Centre to sell their perogies and sausages.
