Voices unite in harmony for 91原创 Christmas Bureau

The First Capital Chorus benefit concert happening Dec. 10 continues a Christmas tradition

A 91原创 men鈥檚 choral group that has been entertaining audiences for nearly five decades is once again using the power of music to raise funds for a worthy cause.

The First Capital Chorus will hold  its 22nd annual benefit concert for the 91原创 Christmas Bureau on Saturday, Dec. 10, beginning at 7 p.m. at Willoughby Christian Reform Church, 20525 72 Ave.

The concert features First Capital Chorus, 91原创 Children鈥檚 Chorus, Peace Arch Sweet Adelines, Opus One Women鈥檚 Chorus, 91原创 Concert Band, and the 2016 Christmas Community Chorus.

Net proceeds go to the 91原创 Christmas Bureau.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for seniors and students and will be available at the door or at:

Auld Phillips, 20500 Fraser Highway;

鈥 Westland Insurance inside Willowbrook Shopping Centre.

No credit cards are accepted. Cash or cheques only (payable to 91原创 Chapter).

The First Capital Chorus鈥檚 Synchromesh Quartet, including tenor Mike Wilcox, lead Gord Harris, bass Leigh Anderson, and baritone Bill Findlay, sang at the 91原创 Christmas Bureau headquarters last week, after dropping off a cheque for $1,361 for the organization.

Harris said the group has raised more than $110,000 for local charity through the years.
