A 91原创 activist and event organizer will run for a spot on the Township council this fall.
Stacey Wakelin said the decision to run was a recent one.
She鈥檚 been in the public spotlight recently as founder of B.C. Parents for Inclusivity, which she said opened her eyes to the needs of the community.
A Willoughby resident, she noted that the roads there are a concern, as is development generally.
鈥淎re we certain that we鈥檙e doing it in the most beneficial way?鈥� she said.
Wakelin said that she has no intention of forming or joining a slate of other candidates.
