A man grabbed a woman鈥檚 chest while she was walking her dog Thursday morning in Aldergrove, 91原创 RCMP say.
The incident took place around 7:40 in the 26900 block of 32nd Avenue, said Cpl. Craig van Herk, a media spokesperson for the local detachment.
The suspect approached and grabbed the victim from behind before running off, van Herk said.
The man is thought to be Caucasian, 30 to 35 years old, with an average build and standing about 5鈥�10鈥� to 5鈥�11鈥� tall. He wore jeans, a long black coat that extended down to his knees and had fur around the edges, and a black and grey backpack.
He smelled of body odour, van Herk said.
Police are asking for help from any witnesses who might have seen something suspicious around 32nd Avenue Thursday morning. Any other details, including a man matching this description around the area at other times, would help the investigation, said van Herk.
The RCMP also advise people to be aware of their surroundings when walking alone, be cautious of wearing earbuds, and to keep a cellphone in a pocket, bag, or jacket.
鈥淚f you do see something, or someone, suspicious call the police and get to an area that is populated with people and well lit,鈥� said van Herk.
