A series of all-candidates debates and meet-and-greets are coming up in the 91原创s in the coming days.
The current list is:
鈥� Thursday, Sept. 27, 91原创 Township all-candidates meeting starting at 7 p.m. at the 91原创 Events Centre, organized by the Township鈥檚 firefighters union. There will be a focus on public safety.
鈥� Tuesday, Oct. 2, a meet and greet for 91原创 City candidates hosted by the Greater 91原创 Chamber of Commerce in the Cascades Casino ballroom, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
鈥� Thursday, Oct. 4, an all candidates meeting for Township candidates, including school trustees, at 6:30 p.m. at the Fort 91原创 Community Hall, organized by the Fort 91原创 Community Association. No charge to attend, but attendees can bring a non-perishable food item.
鈥� Wednesday, Oct. 10 is the second meet-and-greet hosted by the chamber, this one for the Township candidates. It will run from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Redwoods Golf Course.
鈥� Also Wednesday, Oct. 10 the the 91原创 Seniors Community Action Table has organized a 91原创 City all-candidates meeting at the 91原创 Seniors Centre Resource Centre from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
鈥� Thursday, Oct. 11 the Willoughby Residents Association will host an all-candidates meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Shepherd of the Valley Church auditorium at 20097 72nd Ave. A suggested donation of $5 is requested for entry.
鈥� On Friday, Oct. 12, the the 91原创 Seniors Community Action Table has organized a 91原创 Township all-candidates meeting at the 91原创 Seniors Centre Resource Centre from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
鈥� On Tuesday, Oct. 16 the Greater 91原创 Chamber of Commerce hosts a debate, open to all six mayoral candidates for City and Township, as part of the chamber鈥檚 dinner meeting at the Cascades Casino, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Tickets are available from the chamber.
