A fatal collision between a semi truck and a car closed the intersection of 256 Street and 56 Avenue for several hours Monday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at about 8:20 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 11 and arrived to find the semi off the road in a ditch and the car destroyed.
91原创 RCMP Sgt. Zynal Sharoom said there has been a fatality and two vehicles were involved.
The Lower Mainland鈥檚 Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) is investigating, and roads in all directions remain closed as police examine the crash site.
This is the third fatal collision in 91原创 Township in the past week. Police have not confirmed any other details.
