An early-morning crash in 91原创 on Sunday found one car flipped on its side, and its driver missing.
At about 2:30 a.m. on Mother鈥檚 Day, emergency crews were called to a crash in the quiet 91原创 neighbourhood of 91原创 Meadows only to find an empty vehicle.
The driver collided with two parked vehicles, said 91原创 RCMP鈥檚 Cpl. Holly Largy.
鈥淎 witness heard the collision and came out. He believed the driver to be impaired by alcohol,鈥� she said. 鈥淗e was unable to catch him as he fled the scene.鈥�
It鈥檚 unclear if the driver was injured.
Police will be issuing a violation ticket, for failing to remain at the scene, to the registered owner of the vehicle 鈥渁t some point,鈥� Largy said.
鈥淲e won鈥檛 be able to pursue the impaired investigation,鈥� she concluded.
