Editor: I read in the paper that the Cascades Casino is closing its Summit theatre.

Editor: We saw in an article published in the Times on Jan. 3, explaining that condo values across 91Ô­´´ have increased dramatically. It wasn’t only condos, either — almost every type of home has had its assessed value increase.

A local letter writer is unapologetic about cyclists’ right to use the roads.

Editor: While visiting 91Ô­´´ this past week I had the opportunity to read your edition dated Dec. 27, 2017.

Editor: As we end another wonderful season of giving, sharing and celebration, we inevitably think of the people who make our lives and the lives of others better. This year, due to extreme weather conditions, many people have probably relied on someone to help them out.

Editor: The 91Ô­´´ Event Centre is a beautiful well designed building, except for one area. The administration should be embarrassed that the Gate 3 handicap door’s mechanism has not worked since the season began.

Editor: Re: J. Jansen’s letter of Dec. 27:I am a part of the group of Walnut Grove residents Mr. Jansen refers to in his letter and want to clarify that while Linda Nash has sent many letters to the paper, she does not speak for our group.
