Editor: I have been following these SOGI (Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity) articles with great interest, as I feel the subject is going to affect us all, no matter which side we think is right.

Editor: As a senior, I take no position on whether cannabis should or should not be legalized, however I’m not sure how 91Ô­´´ council voted 8-1 in favor of forcing cannabis retailers to follow the same rules for advertising as cigarettes, nor where the comparison between cigarettes and cannabis originated. Is it because they can both be smoked? That is where the similarities end.

Editor: Earlier this month the world was shocked when Stephen Paddock shot down 59 innocent people and then took his own life.

Editor: As a resident of Walnut Grove — specifically Topham — area, I am very confused. I have to ask why Alex Hope Elementary students deserve traffic calming measures in front of their school, while Topham students have a 50km/hr zone, as well as being subjected to a new truck route?
