The 91原创 Community Chorus has a series of upcoming Christmas concerts, including a date in Aldergrove.
The 80-person mixed choir has been making music for over 25 years.
They are a registered charity and non-profit society. Within their constitution are a number of objectives, among them: 鈥渢o foster in the community an appreciation of
choral music鈥� and 鈥渢o provide music in such institutions as senior鈥檚 residences, hospitals, schools and community events.鈥�
To that end, the chorus has performed at Harrison Pointe Independent Living Complex on Nov. 21 and will do the same at 91原创 Renaissance seniors home on Dec. 5.
The smaller ensemble, The 91原创 Community Chorus Ambassadors performed at Fort 91原创 Remembrance Day service, and the Fort 91原创 Bloom Market this past weekend. They will participate in the Newlands Children鈥檚 Wish Breakfast on the Nov. 24.
The LCC loves to sing and will be performing three Christmas concerts this season.
The upcoming concerts, entitled 鈥淭here鈥檚 No Business Like Show Business鈥� are all 3 p.m. matinees and will feature Christmas songs from the screen and stage.
