Santa is flying into 91原创 for an early visit with the help of the Canadian Museum of Flight.
Based at the 91原创 Regional Airport, the local museum will host Santa as a special guest during the annual Christmas family event on Saturday, Nov. 25.
Admission is free for the event, so that finances are not a barrier to enjoying the museum.
鈥淲e want to serve the community and鈥 we can do that by having free admission a few times a year. Christmas is definitely one of those times,鈥 said Brenda Radstaak, administrative coordinator at the flight museum.
There will be an opportunity for kids to make an aviation ornament to hang on a Christmas tree at home, and participate in a scavenger hunt. A hunt for older kids will also be held.
Santa isn鈥檛 yet sure what time he will make it to the museum, but let museum volunteers know as soon as possible.
He will be available for photos, along with his helpful elves accompanying him.
While there, people can tour the flight museum and learn about not only the history of aviation in B.C. but also see the restored vintage and antique flight-related items it houses.
The event runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the museum is located at 5333 216th St.
