Semi truck flips, catches fire on Highway 1 in Abbotsford

Highway 1 eastbound reopens to single-lane traffic, Abbotsford police say

A semi truck flipped and caught fire on Highway 1 in Abbotsford on Thursday morning (March 27). 

According to a news release from the Abbotsford Police Department, one other vehicle was involved in the collision but no injuries have been reported. 

Highway 1 was closed eastbound at 264 Street but has since reopened to single-lane traffic as of 7:45 a.m. 

Drive BC says crews are cleaning up the incident and debris near Bradner Road.  Police expect crews to remain on scene throughout the morning to investigate and clean up.
