Don鈥檛 expect the new NDP-appointed board of Fraser Health to stop charging for parking at the region鈥檚 hospitals.
Chair Jim Sinclair, who was appointed following last year鈥檚 election, said the board has heard complaints about the way parking is managed, but that it鈥檚 not a priority.
鈥淲e鈥檝e had a number of suggestions and we鈥檙e going to take a look at it,鈥� he told Black Press in a recent interview. He suggested there might be ways to make parking more convenient and . But the implementation of free parking at many Fraser Health hospitals isn鈥檛 likely to materialize anytime soon.
鈥淚f people are looking at free parking at hospitals, that鈥檚 not on the agenda,鈥� he said.
