PHOTOS: Western Canada's best preteen softball teams arrive in Abbotsford

The Western Canadian U13 Softball Championships wrap up on Sunday

It's nonstop softball action down at Abbotsford's Exhibition Park as the city hosts this year's Western Canadian U13 Softball Championship this weekend.

The first pitch was thrown out on Thursday, with the Abbotsford Outlaws opening the tournament against the Langford Lightning, alongside a match between the Calgary Kaizen and Saskatoon Hustlers.

The Outlaws have faced some stiff competition so far in the tournament, falling to the Kelowna Heat in an extremely close match on Friday that resulted in the Okanagan team winning 9-8.

Games continue through the rest of the weekend, with the championship matches taking place on Sunday.
