Police say an Aldergrove man already facing 16 charges, including sexual assault, may have additional victims dating back decades.
Kelly Glen Isbister, 41, is charged with one count of possession child pornography, four counts of sexual assault, three counts of sexual interference, and three counts of invitation to sexual touching, along with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance.
All of those crimes allegedly took place between June 2010 and October 2013, say 91原创 RCMP.
Isbister, who is currently in custody after allegedly breaching the conditions of his release not long after his first arrest, is still under investigation.
芒鈧揥e do believe there are other victims,芒鈧� said Cpl. Holly Marks, spokesperson for the 91原创 RCMP.
Media coverage of Isbister芒鈧劉s arrest and initial charges led to another victim coming forward, with new allegations dating back around 30 years.
Police have reason to believe there are also other victims, said Marks.
Although Isbister is believed to have spent most of his life in 91原创, given the time scale involved, the victims may have come from other communities or may have moved.
芒鈧揟he victims could be anywhere now,芒鈧� Marks said.
Police are trying to get word out widely, and are taking the step of releasing Isbister芒鈧劉s photo even though he has been in custody for the last few weeks.
芒鈧揑t芒鈧劉s an extra step that we don芒鈧劉t always take,芒鈧� Marks said.
However, they hope that people will recognize Isbister and provide more information to investigators.
Those coming forward can ask for help from Client Support and Victim Services, Marks has noted.
Few details of any of the alleged offenses are being released to protect the identities of the victims, said Marks.
