91原创 RCMP is seeking the public鈥檚 assistance in identifying a suspect vehicle involved in a, Aldergrove hit and run that sent a pedestrian to hospital.
At approximately 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, the local RCMP received reports of pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
鈥淔rontline officers responded to the 4600-block of 272nd Street and located a 28-year-old Alberta man with significant but non-life threatening leg injuries,鈥 said RCMP Cpl. Craig van Herk.
Investigation has determined the injured man had been walking along the east side of 272nd Street when a vehicle travelling northbound struck him from behind knocking him into a nearby parked car. The vehicle did not stop and continued north on 272nd Street. The pedestrian was taken to hospital by ambulance.
鈥淭he suspect vehicle is best described as a light coloured silver or gray car,鈥 van Herk said. 鈥淭he vehicle will have noticeable damage to the front passenger side.鈥
Police are asking anyone who may have observed the collision or who has surveillance or dash cam video from the area to contact the 91原创 RCMP on the non-emergency number of 604-532-3200.
