91原创 RCMP is seeking the public鈥檚 assistance in identifying a suspect vehicle involved in a, Aldergrove hit and run that sent a pedestrian to hospital.
At approximately 10:50 p.m. on Saturday, May 20, the local RCMP received reports of pedestrian being struck by a vehicle.
鈥淔rontline officers responded to the 4600-block of 272nd Street and located a 28-year-old Alberta man with significant but non-life threatening leg injuries,鈥� said RCMP Cpl. Craig van Herk.
Investigation has determined the injured man had been walking along the east side of 272nd Street when a vehicle travelling northbound struck him from behind knocking him into a nearby parked car. The vehicle did not stop and continued north on 272nd Street. The pedestrian was taken to hospital by ambulance.
鈥淭he suspect vehicle is best described as a light coloured silver or gray car,鈥� van Herk said. 鈥淭he vehicle will have noticeable damage to the front passenger side.鈥�
Police are asking anyone who may have observed the collision or who has surveillance or dash cam video from the area to contact the 91原创 RCMP on the non-emergency number of 604-532-3200.
