Search efforts are being scaled back overnight, more than 24 hours after 56-year-old Annette Poitras went missing in Coquitlam鈥檚 Westwood Plateau area.
The investigation remains an urgent, high priority, according to Cpl. Michael McLaughlin, with Coquitlam RCMP.
Search and rescue members from Maple Ridge, Surrey, North Shore Rescue and Lion鈥檚 Bay joined in the attempt to find Poitras, who went missing on Eagle Mountain, near Westwood Plateau, in Coquitlam on Monday.
She had been walking with her three dogs.

Ridge Meadows Search and Rescue were paged out at 1:30 a.m. Tuesday, said spokesman Rick Laing.
One member of the Ridge Meadows squad left at 5 a.m. and another at 8 a.m..
Laing said it鈥檚 a big area to search.
鈥淚t鈥檚 not a walk in the park search area.鈥�
It鈥檚 possible one of the dogs ran off and the woman tried to find it, Laing added.
Anyone who sees Poitras is asked to call Coquitlam RCMP.
鈥淭here is no indication of foul play, but Poitras was not prepared to spend the night outside,鈥� McLaughlin said.
She described as white, 150 cm, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
McLaughlin added that they do not need volunteers from the public to help.
鈥淲e ask that you keep the area clear for searchers and equipment.鈥�
