Editor: I have sent the following letter to 91原创 Minor Hockey Association.
I just wanted to acknowledge how wonderful the conduct of your Peewee A4 parents was at both of our playoff games. North Vancouver Minor Hockey Association played 91原创, and we lost both games by scores of 10-0 and 7-0.
A lot of times, even after the fifth goal, parents on other teams will be banging the glass and cheering like they just won the Stanley Cup.
Your parents were awesome. A few of the parents from NVMHA commented on how respectful the 91原创 parents were to our Peewee team which was losing.
Thank you so very much. You made the loss easier for our boys to take ( and for us as parents).
For all the bad behaviour that unfortunately happens in minor hockey, which has drawn a lot of attention, you should be very proud of your team鈥檚 parents and spectators.
We wish them all the best in the playoffs, and hope 91原创 Peewee A4 goes all the way to win the championship.
