Editor: I’m not sure where Mr. Bowman (the Times, June 17) is getting his stats on gun deaths in Canada versus the US, but from the information I’ve seen there are 1.97 deaths per 100,000 population from firearms in Canada and 10.54 per 100,000 in the United States.
My source is Wikipedia, but then this is probably only left wing anti-gun propaganda.
Perhaps Mr. Bowman could enlighten us on the “factual” source of information.
