Editor: I would like to make a small correction to the article鈥� (The Times, Feb. 19).
The owner of the carriage house and the property it sits on is Carlill, Carbolic Smokeball Corporation. It is a company incorporated in 1978, with 17 shareholders. While Dale LaVerne and Margot McKenzie are shareholders in CCS Corporation, there are also 15 other shareholders, many of whom have worked hard with fundraising, planning and organizing the exterior restoration of the Hope Carriage House.
It has truly been a co-operative effort. Thanks should also be extended to the Township of 91原创 and the 91原创 Heritage Society, as well as Landstone Homes and Centra Windows.
With the care and respect the old building is now receiving, we hope it will be still standing 100 years from now as a reminder of the history of Fort 91原创.
