Editor: I am writing about the six defenceless dogs that suffered and eventually died a horrific death at the hands of Emma Paulsen.
First, I wish we would stop calling them the 鈥�91原创 6,鈥� as the only thing that 91原创 had to do with the story is that it was part of Paulsen鈥檚 lie.
Second, she was shopping at Costco in Richmond, apparently for 45 minutes. I can鈥檛 help but wonder if anyone saw and reported those poor dogs to Costco.
I have done that on many occasions, and Costco鈥檚 policy is that it will not announce that there is a dog in a hot car, as it is worried people would get mad and not renew their memberships. That is what I was told.
I say to everyone 鈥� when you see a dog, or any other living being, in a hot car 鈥� report it. Don鈥檛 ignore it. To know what you know and do nothing makes you part of the problem, not part of the solution.
Let鈥檚 use common sense and leave pets at home, where they are safe and comfortable with plenty of fresh water. Do not leave them in your vehicle for any length of time.
