We needed a say on police contract

The renewal of the RCMP contract is something all BCers should have had a say in.

Editor: Shirley Bond must really be wondering how she could have been taken in by Ottawa to sign for another 20 years with the RCMP, a less-than-reputable law enforcement agency. With two more lawsuits for harassment filed by women RCMP officers, the force鈥檚 less than stellar reputation has been dealt yet another blow.

How much more of this injustice are we going to be subjected to until the B.C. government gets the message?  On such an important matter, the renewal of their contract is something all BCers should have had a say in.
