A local letter writer says people have to have somewhere to boogie.

The Township is seeking nominations of people for two key local awards.

Editor : I wish to address the Dec. 27 letter of J. Jansen.

I had two young guests, six and 11, over for a visit. I was showing them how my old turntable changed the records by itself and the younger one sat down in front of my old Remington typewriter to try out the keys and the levers.

Editor: In Jim McGregor鈥檚 Dec. 29 column Make a difference in the New Year , he mentions 鈥渁bandoned farms鈥� being used for illegal activity.

Letter writer has called Canada a deadbeat for not contributing as much as other developed nations.

The closure of the Summit Theatre leaves the community without a large performing arts space.

Editor: I want to give a shout out to everyone who worked at 91原创 Memorial Hospital during the Christmas week. I was brought in by kind ambulance drivers on Dec. 24 in the early morning. The care on 2 North from Dr. Vu and Dr. Shirley, to all the nurses and housekeeping staff, was amazing. They did their jobs with kindness. I thank God for each one of you.

Editor: With the news that the Summit Theatre at Cascades Casino will be converted into a bingo hall, it鈥檚 time to rethink if 91原创鈥檚 current cultural facilities are enough.
