Blaze fall short in doubleheader

The 91原创 Blaze dropped a pair of one-run games in Seattle Premier Baseball League action on Tuesday, falling 9-8 and 3-2 to the Boys of Summer Baseball club.

The games were played at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue.

The losses dropped 91原创 to 2-4 in the SPL.

In the opener, 91原创 was down 9-2 heading into the seventh and final inning and managed to score six runs to narrow the gap to one run.

Game two saw the Blaze fall 3-2 as the Boys of Summer snapped a 2-2 with a fifth-inning double.

91原创's Kristjan Storrie struck out seven in six innings of work while Kyle McComb and Sasaki Shoma had an RBI apiece.

Mitchell Robinson drove in a pair in the opener.

The club also leads the B.C. Premier U18 Baseball League with a 26-7 record.
