And all that came to a head at the 91原创 Cup midget tournament with the Blazers beating LY5 twice in the double-knockout format, including 6-3 in the championship finals at the George Preston Recreation Centre on March 30.
LY5 was the top seed while the Blazers were seeded fourth for the five-team tournament.
鈥淲e started off slow 鈥� typical of my teams 鈥� but finished on a high note,鈥� Sever said.
The coach said the key was for his team to stay committed.
鈥淵ou just stick to your guns and figure our your systems,鈥� he explained.
