The Abbotsford Junior Cardinals struck for two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to cool the 91原创 Junior Blaze 3-2.
The game was played on Wednesday (June 19) at Delair Park.
The win snapped 91原创's four game win streak but they still lead the B.C. Junior (U16) Premier Baseball League with a record of 24-5.
91原创 scored a run in both the third and fifth innings, while the Cardinals plated one run in the fourth.
Tony Pharand and Kevin Sengara both hit RBI singles, scoring Shayne Clarke and Dayton Wilson, respectively.
But that would be all the offence 91原创 could muster.
Danny Hollins, who relieved Josh Geerts in the fifth inning, was tagged with the loss, allowing two unearned runs.
The Blaze will look to climb back into the win column on June 22 as they face the Vancouver Junior Cannons in a doubleheader.
