Trinity Western men鈥檚 hockey goaltender Harry Fredeman has been named the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League鈥檚 Player of the Week.
Fredeman led the Spartans to a pair of home wins at the 91原创 Events Centre over Victoria Friday and Saturday, boosting TWU鈥檚 regular season record to 4-1.
On Friday, the 21-year old netminder was the difference in a game where his team was outshot by a 38-21 margin. Fredeman allowed just a pair of goals.
Then, on Saturday afternoon, Fredeman shut down the Vikes offence entirely to the tune of a 42-save shutout. His tremendous play peaked during a 24-save middle frame.
Fredeman is unbeaten in four starts this season and currently leads all BCIHL starters with a 1.15 goals-against average and .966 save-percentage.
